This is the third year that Lions District 4-C6 has participated in the City of Hope Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer.  Lions stepped up to the plate the first year and raised over $10,000 for breast cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope in Duarte, California.  Last year we raised almost $17,000 and both years District 4-C6 was the second highest fundraiser in the Walk for Hope in San Francisco. 

This year we ask Lions in all districts to join Lions for Hope in our walk from the Ferry Building to AT&T Park along The Embarcadero in beautiful San Francisco or to donate to a fellow Lion to raise money for City of Hope specifically for breast cancer.  How many of us have friends, moms, sisters or neighbors who have been affected?

City of Hope’s Walk for Hope to Cure Breast Cancer is an opportunity for women, their families and friends to come together and demonstrate unity in the face of a disease that takes the lives of those we love. When we walk together, we are strong. Walk for Hope is held in cities across the country to support lifesaving breast cancer research, treatment and education at City of Hope.
