Letter from Mindy, City of Hope
Hi there!
Thanks for participating in Walk for Hope as a team captain this year! We hope you are having a great time fundraising with your whole team. We sincerely appreciate all your efforts and cannot wait to see all of you this weekend. This year’s walk is shaping up to be a great one.
We have a special team area that I would like to tell you about. For teams that have pre-registered 5 people or more, please check in under the big banner that reads “Team Area.” Here you will receive a list of your team members, raffle tickets (one per participant), and a team sign. Please distribute the tickets to your team members, after the walk, our raffle winner numbers will be read and winners must be present to win so be sure to stick around. The signs with your team name written on it will be for the team photo area. You will see a purple carpet in front of a giant Walk for Hope banner. Please have your team photo taken here once your whole team arrives at the walk. There will be volunteers helping with this process.
We will have some fun props for you to take photos with and we encourage you to bring some of your own as well. (ie: boas, sunglasses, beads, etc.) PLEASE NOTE: YOU WILL ONLY HAVE A PACKET IF YOU ARE A TEAM OF 5 PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS OR MORE! However, all teams are encouraged to take photos.
This year will be a fantastic walk and we encourage you to still continue your fundraising and recruiting to ensure you qualify for entrance into the team area and for our team fundraising prizes!
